This is a community-led initiative for land acquisition and home development inspired by the charism of St. Vincent de Paul. Their needs and capacity are measured based on participatory and collective principles on enabling poor communities to engage in realty development.
Pabuhay or livelihood/social enterprise pertains to the socio-economic viability of partner communities through developing innovative and adaptive economic activities and projects that are managed by the partner communities.

This goes beyond campaigns and includes formal means of policy change, development and implementation; leading to more concrete, sustainable and empowering development programs and actions that are responsive to the needs of marginalized groups and communities.
Care for the Homeless is the main and overarching advocacy of the Foundation. Homelessness is still one of the major issues in the Philippines left largely at a loose end despite having shelter as a pivotal factor in a person’s development. The Vincentian Foundation ventured into different initiatives in addressing this in partnership with local communities willing to take-up responsibilities in developing a community-driven land acquisition and development program.
In this advocacy, people’s participation is crucial; from identifying the land, managing savings mobilization systems, negotiating with landowners, documentation, partnerships and so on.
The construction of houses goes beyond the infrastructure. This highlights the interplay of the people's initiatives through savings and various support from experts, agencies, donors and more.

As an expression of the charism of St. Vincent De Paul, Care for the Vulnerable Program focuses on collectively and holistically addressing social issues that beset poor communities. The services are borne out of the expressed needs of the partner communities working together with the Vincentian Foundation in facilitating or conducting projects and activities.
Services are provision of supplemental milk & prescription medicines, learning sessions, partnerships for physiotherapy/medical needs and more.
